One of the splendours of heading towards the Hinterland is that you are surrounded by bushland, lush green paddock, and shaded by the tree canopy as the road winds toward Wauchope. We are a short drive from the B56 turn off towards the Billabong Zoo and Wauchope.
Take a right turn just before you reach the township. Redbank is a stunning part of the Mid North Coast and a hidden gem for those wishing to take a break and enjoy the stillness.
Allow 2 hours for the ride. We want to ensure your safety so we spend a bit of time with you before the ride to go through our high-level safety induction. As we say ‘safety number one then comes the fun.’ Once that is all done and dusted, you will get to meet the Legends. Our team of beautiful gentle horses. You will be matched with your ride in the round yard. Once you have mounted your horse you will be given guidance on riding, and then we are on our way.

The first leg of the trek takes you east along a scenic track as it follows the magnificent Hastings River, past grazing land with lush green paddock, unique structures, or some might call it Art. As you make your way along the track you will feel the stillness, notice the local birdlife, and find out about the local area with snippets of interesting historical stories. Before we turn back, there will be a chance to splash, paddle or swim your Horse. Be prepared to get wet and have FUN if you wish.
Heading back you will have a very different perspective with a view of Bago Mountain which is situated in Bago Bluff National Park. This wider lens offers a panorama of your surrounding. This will be the time for a photo opportunity as well as a possible sighting of Dolphins in the Hastings River. Wave to the boats as they cruise passed and bask in the experience of serenity this River Ride delivers.
